2011′s summer buzz on EcoModernism

We’ve been busy. And published!
In mid July, readers of Jamie Goldberg’s top-notch Gold Notes blog were treated to a couple of guest posts by yours truly. Covering the pros & cons of Ikea cabinets, the posts were part of her 3rd anniversary celebration of the blog.
Jamie & I are twitter cohorts & finally met at KBIS in Vegas this past spring. Great lady, tons of kitchen design know-how & experience, & couldn’t be in a more fantastic setting than San Diego CA!
Without further ado (I’ve always wanted to say that), here are the Gold Notes posts:
Daily5Remodel Innovations Feature post
Daily5Remodel, is a comprehensive online magazine for anyone involved or interested in the remodeling business. It’s Leah Thayer’s supreme & legit source of nuts & bolts hands-on issues affecting remodelers. Leah & I met a couple of summers ago at Pittsboro’s City Tap pub. I have yet to venture to DC & claim my payback beer.
d5R published an article today in the Innovations section on EcoModernism. It’s about our forward thinking practice of doing design for folks far & wide. Thanks to gizmos like iPads & the biggest gizmo of all – the web, we’re able to work for people all over the country.
What makes us tick?
This thought, in a nutshell is the core from which we operate:
“The only sustainable competitive advantage – for individuals and companies – is creativity,” Josh Linkner author of Disciplined Dreaming.
We have no shortage of that at EcoMod, if I do say so myself.
Check out the articles – let me know your thoughts!
