We're ready for IKEA® Charlotte. Are you?
Counting down
Less than a month to go until doors open at NC’s first IKEA® store in Charlotte. For those looking for their IKEA® fix but don’t want to make the drive, we can help! We take orders from local people and go get it at the store for them. We bring your orders back to our storage facility in Raleigh where they can be picked up without driving several hours and taking a whole day.
How does it work?
Our first official run is February 20. For more info including our downloadable wishlist form, and 2009 runner schedule, see details on our runner page.

I had the privilege of checking out the new store last saturday – it’s beautiful. They have a fantastic section for kitchen displays, I highly recommend visiting them in person.
They also have a section for their line of business furnishings – retail display components, workspace components and lighting. the business product line is only about a year old, and is as affordable as everything else they carry.
They also are continuing their movement toward green with reusable plastic bags with handles, and they incorporated daylighting in the warehouse section. Parking underneath would’ve been great, like in the Woodbridge location, but I’m sure tradeoffs with construction & costs had to be balanced.
